The Centre for Population Genomics is a young not-for-profit research initiative working to build a more equitable future for genomic medicine.
We are a remote-first, geographically distributed hub for innovation in genomics, data science, and clinical translation, with over 40 team members located across Australia and New Zealand.
Unlike typical academic groups, most of our team members are professional staff - including software engineers, data scientists, project managers, and community engagement experts - many with backgrounds in industry.
We have built career paths to ensure that team members can develop long-term professional careers without focusing on traditional academic metrics such as publications.
The focus of all of our programs is on real-world impact: ensuring that genomics can be used to help patients, families, and communities.
